Want faster payments on your warranty claims? As WPI receives claims from our customers, we have found that many claims scanned to us are full of unnecessary information:
Not only does including this extra info result in additional time taken to sort through what is sent to WPI to review, but it also takes you more time to scan each claim (as well as contributing to environmental waste, of course). When scanning claims to WPI, here are the documents which are needed to process the claims for efficient payment (preferably in this order); 1. The Warranty Copy of the RO (or copy from DMS showing parts cost pricing) 2. Front and back of dealer hard copy including all tech comments and time punches a. ERO (electronic repair order) when using the ERO all copies printed same as above 3. Vehicle Information Printout ran at the time of repair, showing warranty coverage/repair history of vehicle 4. Internal Rental Agreements/Loaner Vehicle Invoices, showing VIN of vehicle and number of days 5. Sublet Bills from outside vendors 6. Diagnostic Printouts and any Worksheets including the necessary information required for claim submissions that support repairs ; a. Brake Rotor Specs. b. Tire Dot Codes c. Serial Numbers d. Cost vs. Repair Analysis e. Customer Pay ROs for Parts Warranty Claims/Previous ROs for Service Parts Warranty Claims f. Any Diagnostic Testing Printouts IDS (Ford)
